Being a first time owner of a shorthair when my husband and first married, we now own 4... two males and 2 females from the shooting star line. They are top in their field. I want more shorthairs. They are the most loyal and loving animal I have ever come across. We are on 10 acres in Wisconsin near the Michigan border and these dogs have the time of their lives running, playing and hunting. All four even sleep with us. Snow is on its way and they love it!!!! SHORTHAIRS RULE!!!
