We're proud to announce the arrival of Dixie's (FC Yong Gun's Dixie Chick) litter! Puppies were born Memorial Day, May 28, 2007. Photos of the pups can be seen in the photo gallery here (click on the Photo Gallery tab above). Note that, while the pedigree speaks for itself, a few highlights
- 21 Dual Champions in 5 generations
- No untitled dogs in the first 3 generations

Dixie is my main hunting dog and works at a nice gundog range off foot. She does stretch out a bit more from horseback, but still works at a comfortable range. We've hunted most western species and she has adapted to everything we've gone after. She's also been invited to participate in several quail studies. Dixie just completed her Field Championship, completely owner-handled and with both foot and horseback wins. She also has a Master Hunting leg and points towards her AFC (including a major and all retrieving points). Her hips are OFA Good.
Dixie was bred about 2 years ago to Buster's full littermate, Bert (FC Lowrys Red Label V Ruggerheim). Those pups are doing very well, with placements and wins in Derby stakes and 1 with a JH title. All have been hunted over and the owners are very happy with their performance.
Buster completed his show championship and has been working on completing his own Dual Championship. He currently needs 4 points to finish his FC/DC. Buster also works at a nice gundog range. His hips are OFA Excellent.
