From another list. I don't know the fella, but a lot of you all are from back East...
Makes me sad to think about him being alone.

Dog Show Exhibitors - This came to me in an email today!
Hi Show chairs / vendor chairs, and others who frequent this vendor,
I just received a note about John of "White Dog Bone" with a request that I share it with any interested parties. He has been a friendly spirit and help to me at the shows where I chair vendors so I will be writing him on behalf of the Atlantic Shore Memorial Classic. Perhaps your club & / or individual members would like to send him a card? Presidents & Show Chairs perhaps send on to your vendor chairpersons?
"big John" Kirkpatrick, the jolly helpful fellow who mans the White Dog Bone booth..... He always had afriendly word for everyone.. John just found out he has inoperable, terminal cancer, and is in a lot of pain. He has no family, and is alone in a rehab hospital near Springfield , MA , where he was taken after falling ill at the dog shows up there several
weeks ago. If you have a moment, please drop John a card or a note at the following address: Maybe someone in the area can do a therapy dog visit? John Kirkpatrick Heritage Hall East, Room 127A 464 Main Street , Agawam , MA 01001

John's situation is very sad, Frank and I have spoken with him a couple of times. He will be moved into Hospice care this
coming weekend, is unable to stand or even sit up-He has Stage IV cancer which has spread throughout his
body-and is on morphine to help ease the pain.
He is a wonderful person, always a smile and been a great help in countless ways to the dog show
world of vendors, exhibitors and spectators......
Prayers would be wonderful-visits also for those in Springfield this weekend.
