Have you tried to contact the Breeder of the Dog? A Responsible Breeder will take them back through the life of the dog.

I believe it is yammamoto , would a breeder take a dog back if the papers were lost ? I feel like crap but I just can't stand to see this lil guy not getting the running in that he should because of our current situation .

If it's Todd Yammamoto I can just about guarantee he will take the pup back, papers or not. That's not to say he'll buy the dog back, but he is a responsible breeder and takes care of his own. When you are the breeder, you can always get duplicate papers. Call me on my cell and I'll get you in contact with him. 480-220-4646. Jean

can I call you tomm ? I'm at work intil 11 tonite . I'm not looking to get any money I just want him to go to a good home . You know how things are in PHX. I'm just afraid of him going to a run of the mill home where he will be treated like a normal yard dog .

Yay! Todd's such a good guy, we really enjoyed having him over for our trial awhile back. Very, very responsible breeder ! Thanks, Jean and Todd, you make things a bit shinier in the midst of one who said to me..."oh well, girlfriend, that's dogs." Sigh. Wow, what a happy ending. This is an absolute great use of this forum. All the questions and advice are great, but to have a happy ending for this pup is priceless. Rick if you are reading this, thanks again for shorthairs.net.

How I wish all breeders were as responsible as Todd. He's a great guy. Also, I want to say thanks to Brandon for doing the right thing and coming to a forum like this to look for help rather than putting the dog on craigslist or dumping him at the Humane Society or worse, out in the desert. Jean
