What does this mean?

It means 2 males are responsible for creating the litter. Hopefully, the breeders do DNA testing on all dogs involved and then on the pups to determine which sire sired which pup.

It could also be slang for sired by a DC a dual champion.

Either is possible. When one of my girls was leased out last spring, two males were used. I was undecided as to how to advertise the litter since dual sired to me means that the litter is sired by a Dual Champion. However, if that was what was meant, then that would be what was said, wouldn't you think? I'd say, sired by DC Flockenflecken or whatever. So, I finally decided on the use of the wording, "dually sired" until we could get DNA done on the puppies to determine the sire.

So, its kind of a catch as catch can phrase. I still don't know. :) (BTW, all pups in that litter were sired by one dog per DNA, but since they were not registered nor positively identified via microchip when DNA was done, we've had to repeat the DNA profiles for Nationals entries.

Phyllis that is too bad about them all being from one sire. I think the dually sired thing could be a great tool for breeders in the future. Good luck at Nationals!
